"Consolação" is written by Baden Powell and Vinicius de Moraes and was released in 1966 on the historic album “ Os Afro- Sambas de Baden e Vinicius”

In 1962, the guitarist and composer Baden Powell met the poet-diplomat Vinicius de Moraes and began a collaboration that yielded classics of 1960s Brazilian music. Although bossa nova was the prevailing sound at the time, Baden and Vinicius wanted to combine samba with Afro-Brazilian forms such as candomblé, umbanda, and capoeira.

Rogério Bicudo (Campos, Rio de Janeiro,1957) combines classical technique with popular harmony and swing. Plays guitar since the age of six mainly Brazilian Populaire Music. Later on he studied classic guitar with Odair Assad and from 1982-1987 at the Madrid Conservatorium.
